AMDISSION NOTICE ON Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University (BSMRMU),Bangladesh (Its The only one  public maritime university in whole Bangladesh).

STUDENTS-ADMISSION NOTICE (Regular Programs).

>LLM (Maritime Law).

>Master In Port and Shipping Management (MPSM).

>MBA (Major in Maritime Business).

1. Every Eligibility applicant must fulfill the admission requirements as prescribed by BSMRMU. The applicants minimum requirements for admission on this program are given belows:  

i. For MPSM and MBA, a Honors degree or equivalent degree in any field including Science, Maritime, Business, Agriculture and Engineering degree will be required.

For LLM (Maritime Law), from any reputed university will be required in LLB Degree.

ii. Candidates with general education mustbe maintain with at least second division degree or CGPA 2.25 in all public exam.

iii. Candidates with GCE must be passed at least 5 subjects in 0 level (including mathematics) and at least 2 subjects in A level. However candidates having more than two 'D' grades in 0 level and/or more than one '0' grades in A level shall not be eligible for admission.

iv. two years Job experience shall be given more preference for candidates.

v. Mariners having honors degree with at least five years of experience may apply for Masters in Law program. In such case, the degree title will be M. Jur. Students of M.Jur program will have to complete few additional courses to fulfill the requirements of degree.

vi. Foreign applicants are also may apply through their respective embassy rules.

2. Duration of the Program:

i. Master in Port and Shipping Management- 1.5 years (three semesters).

ii. LLM Maritime Law-1.5 years (total three semesters).

ii. MBA (Major in Maritime Business) -2 years (total 4 semesters).

3. Procedure of Application:

Application form is available at BSMRMU website (www.bsmrmu.edu.bd)/ or BSMRMU office.

Applicants have to submit the application and also submit photocopies of all mark sheet and certificates to fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above within the deadline through the address of Dean Office.

Along with the application form, applicants are to attach a Bank draft/pay order of Tk 1000/00 from any Bank through as follows:

4. Selection Procedure:

selsection by the WRITTEN-TEST & VIVA-VOCE.

Proficiency in English language, Aptitude, Communication, Basic knowledge on Maritime and analytiacl Ability will be assessed.

5. Important Dates:

> Deadeline of application: 20 June 2016

> Date of Written Test: Saturday, 09 July. 2016 on 10.00 am.

> Written test result will published: 12 July 2016.

> Viva-Voce test: 19-21 July 2016.

> Final Result will published on 31 July 2016.

> Admission Process: 07 August- 07 September.

> Class Start: 02 October 2016.
